Shannon Gunn Quintet

The Shannon Gunn Quintet wows and engages audiences of all ages through performances of Shannon Gunn’s originals and arrangements. The Shannon Gunn Quintet has performed at the National Gallery of Art Jazz in the Garden series, Blues Alley, Takoma Station, National Jazz Workshop, Montpelier Art Center, Gallery O on H, and more. Shannon has used this group to perform tributes to artists such as Hank Mobley, JJ and Kai, and more. Below you will find examples from a JJ and Kai tribute, a swing dance with vocalist, and a creative and funk infused arrangement of a pop tune, and a three horn chordless combo for the DC Jazz Fest.
